Nice drawing of a typical Japanese demon depiction. What color is it?
(Last bit is a joke on Japanese demons who are almost always mono-colored)

Done. I felt like I was dwelling on the picture a bit and started taking too long. It still looks complete and I'm happy with it.
@Konig: I figure a reddish tone to kind of follow the original Flesh Golem design.

@Yun: you WOULD camp my thread, you spawn camper.
@Tommy: I can't help it, lol. My brother doesn't get much time to sign on because of his work, so that's sort of the only opportunity. And for the moment, I think I'm going to take a stab at pure landscapes for a little bit. I need to jump on that speedpainting bandwagon.

So, if this is your second refined piece using a tablet, one can only imagine in a year's time.

Exactly, I'm trying to think optimisticly here. I've been looking at some speed paintings and am absolutely blown away/jealous at how so much detail can be done in such a brief period of time.
Plus, it seems to be one of the primary methods used among concept artists. I'm thinking of applying for an internship at Blizzard within the near future, so I need to learn every technique it is they use if I'm to be even considered a viable candidate.

That is awesome! I love the look on Minami's face. She's just like "Oh, go ahead. Try me."

@Frost: Thank you much. I'm really fickle about my ideas in drawings sometimes, though I'm sure it's pretty obvious. A lot of things are always changing, being trashed or added in later down the line.
@Verene: Ha, I thought that would be a proper expression for her since she's in control of that giant mass of dead flesh looming behind her.

Hey, if you can pick characters to fight with, we need stages to fight in right?

wow... EPIC.
So creepy, I love the movements of the plants in the bg and the ominous light in the smoke. I never knew Minami could look so terrifying!

Wow Charlie, thank you SO much
It looks fantastic!
Minami looks so awesome, controlling minions is the best! ^_^
I love the lighting and the lamp is awesome
Cool thing is, and I didn't want to post this before lest you change your mind, there's a promo photo of my hubby where he holds a lantern, it's similar to your pic ^_^
That brings the cool factor up for me

Thanks for the compliments, guys.
@Tommy: my thoughts exactly
@Tzu: to me, necros definitely need to have a creepy vibe to them. I'm still satisfied how she has a bit of a seductive appearance to her to go along with the terrifying factor.
@Minami: Glad you like it, Minami. A MM seemed fitting for your character since you were playing one when we were all trying to get to Dhuum, but died horribly.
And that picture is all sorts of awesome.
Next up: arena design followed up by my warrior.

I actually may have an idea for your necro that I can run with at some point.
At the moment, the only solid ideas I have stewing in my brain are for:
-assassin (both male and female)
-an Asura + golem combo
Other than those two, my toon is included. I've got other ideas, but I'm trying not to get too ahead of myself here.
